The Tiger admits to transgressions can trust be rebuilt - Jaimee Grubbs fame seeker or scorned lover -
Tiger admitted to transgressions with VH-1's Tool Academy reality contestant Jaimee Grubbs. While he didn't go into details, he admitted he let his family down. This came out after US Weekly Magazine story from source Jaimee Grubbs claims that he was having an affair with her.
The simple fact is that men and women cheat... the main reason people cheat is because they are searching for something missing in their relationship. If someone is happy they wouldn't stray. But it is not always the cheater or the cheatee's (one being cheated on) fault. Many times it is because communication is not strong in the relationship. That falls on everyone in the relationship.
We cannot venture a guess as to why Tiger Woods' would have 'transgressed' in his relationship with wife Elin Nordegren. The truth is that no one but the people in that relationship has any insight as to what goes on behind closed doors. Tiger and Elin are doing the right thing by attempting to deal with his 'transgressions' in the privacy of their own home(which is what Woods has been trying to do from the start). Woods has always been a private man, but affairs or transgressions (no matter how messy or true they are) are dealt with better without public humiliation being added to the dirty water running under the bridge.
What we do know is that Tiger Woods' will have to rebuild trust with his wife Elin if they decide to work through this (let's face it - age old) problem. Rebuilding trust takes time and work and many experts will tell you that once broken you can never really have complete trust again. But many people (in and out of the public eye) have made their relationships work after trust was broken. Only time will tell if the Woods' family will do the same.
Jaimee Grubbs told US Weekly magazine, that she has had 20 sexual encounters with Tiger Woods and these encounters happened over almost three years. Three words; pot, kettle, black. Grubb's small brush with fame was from VH-1's hit 'Tool Academy' where she drug her boyfriend into the show because he was a 'tool'. The boyfriend was expelled because he was seeing another woman behind Jaimee's back... (sound familiar?)
There are two sad peices to this story. Tiger and his family problems in response to his 'transgressions', and Jaimee Grubbs. According to Access Hollywood yesterday, Grubbs was okay with the alleged affair as long as she knew she was the only one. She knew Woods' would not leave his wife but that was a-ok. But when Grubb's heard about the other, other woman Rachel Uchitel (who still denies the affair rumors) she told all to US Weekly Magazine. She also turned over voicemail recording and text messages.
You have heard the interviews and read the stories, do you think Jaimee Grubbs is seeking fame by using this alleged affair? I am reminded recently of another individual (Levi Johnston) that has been using the media and his connection to an already famous person to gain fame himself. Is this the case with Jaimee Grubbs?
Or is she retaliating because she is upset over the alleged other, other woman Rachel Uchitel? And is either reason, good enough to use what you have to wreck another relationship or person's life? It's too late for the moral high ground for either party, that option ended when they both crossed the line into transgression territory, but doing the right thing would have been to deal with this VERY personal matter privately. Perhaps grubbs could have met with Elin alone (out of the public eye) and told her what had happened. Perhaps she could have waited to the phone call that was mentioned on the voicemail. Perhaps... but either way the story is out and we are reminded of the fact that all of us (even those we thought were untouchable) are human and make mistakes.
